Alumnus Peter Hews Discovers a New Dinosaur

A new type of dinosaur was put on display at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Alberta last Thursday. Regaliceratops peterhewsi was closely related to the triceratops. This new discovery is actually named after the Carleton Earth Sciences alumnus who discovered it. Calgary geologist Peter Hews identified a segment of bone in the vicinity of the Oldman River, outside of Lethbridge.
