Advances in Earth Science Research Conference (AESRC) 2015


Students in the Department of Earth Sciences at Carleton University are encouraged to attend the Advances in Earth Science Research Conference (AESRC) 2015AESRC was founded in 2002 by graduate students at the Ottawa-Carleton Geoscience Centre (OCGC). It remains an annual, student-run venue for students to present their research and collaborate with researchers from other universities across Ontario and Quebec. AESRC was held at Carleton as recently as 2011. 


Who: Upperclassmen and graduate students 

What: A multidisciplinary conference - whether you study fossils or landslides, ore deposits or environmental hazards, there is a place for you at AESRC 

When: Friday, March 27th - Sunday March 29th, 2015

Where: Queen's University

Why: At AESRC, students are encouraged to think outside of their area of study. The objective of this conference is to foster inter-university communication and collaboration between graduate students in the surrounding area.
