Students seeking permission to register in a closed section of a course or a course for which they lack prerequisites should provide the required information using the "Submit Registration Error Override Request" page in Carleton Central (http://central.carleton.ca). Access to the "Submit Registration Error Override Request" page is available from the Add or Drop Classes page.
To view or cancel a request, or to check the status (progress) of a previously submitted request, go to the "Registration Error Override Requests" page. The page is accessible from the "Submit Registration Error Override Request" page from the Registration menu.
Note that submitting a request does not guarantee a space in the course. The department will review requests within 3-5 business days and make a decision based on student need and space availability. Response will not be emailed to student as students can see the status of their request in Carleton Central. Please do not contact the department office or instructors for updates on the status of your request.
